Help Me March Drum Corps!

My name is Skyler Greggerson, and I am a Music Composition major at Miami University as well as one of the brass caption teachers for the Northmont High School marching band and winds programs.

As a passionate trumpet player with nearly a decade of dedication to music and the marching arts, I've been given an extraordinary opportunity to march with the Santa Clara Vanguard in the 2025 Drum Corps International tour.

As a seven-time DCI World Champion corps, Vanguard represents some of the highest levels of excellence in the marching arts. This opportunity would allow me to showcase my skills on a world stage and learn from some of the best instructors in the world. Not only would this benefit me as a musician, but it would also give me more tools to help my students excel.

However, participating in a world-class drum corps like Santa Clara Vanguard comes with significant expenses. Our tuition includes tour fees, equipment, uniform costs, and meals. Each donation aids me in covering these expenses and will allow me to pursue excellence with one of the best ensembles in the country.

Considering that this opportunity spans over 85 days of intensive training and performance, the cost breaks down to less than $100 per day for a life-changing experience.
